Why shouldn't Alabama be number 2?

After all they played a team at .500 at home and couldn't score a touchdown. They needed to block 2 not 1 4th qtr feild goals. With the east coast bias factor they would be #1, if it wasn't for another SEC team all ready holding the #1 spot.
 
No one said they shouldn't be number two. All we said was that Texas played a much cleaner game than Florida and BAMA yesterday.

Texas' defensive team are very impressed against the OSU's offensive team. That was the reason the Longhorns blow them out. And they're number 2!!! Whoo. Now, I wanna the LSU to beat 'Bama this saturday to let Texas Longhorns have the chance to go to National Championship.

USC are still suprising me, they lost against the Ducks.
 
Notre Dame won!!! Annnnnnnnnnd it was the only game I got to watch any part of, and all I saw was the last 6 minutes sooooooo.....I can't really discuss what I didn't get to see. LOL
 
Ohio State won, quite easily. Only allowed 62 yards the entire game.

In other news, the Browns are the worst team in the history of the world.

Not surprising as Oregon or Oregon State have kept USC out of the Championship for 4 years now. USC hasn't lost a game outside it's conference in that long.

Could be Texas back in the Rose Bowl against Florida or Alabama for the Championship

On New Years Day the Rose Bowl could be Oregon and Iowa.
 
Completely DUMB! I was pretty ticked when I heard about that. They suspended an Oregon player for hitting a BSU player (who was mouthing off to begin with) for the rest of the season (although I heard it might be overturned). And this guy gets benched for two whole quarters.......so, so, so pathetic.
 
Like The Dash said... Urban Meyer made a statement with that suspension... "It doesn't matter WHAT happens, nothing will get in the way of a Florida national championship."
