You are weird because my post was about Charlie Weis surviving beyond the end of the season with Notre Dame. I never commented on the SEC and I do recognize it as a good conference.

Silly boy, UCLA beat Tennessee in the second week 19 to 15. So your promises ring hollow.

UGA's next loss Halloween, their next game. Might lose by 50 points

A better question would be "Who has USC PLAYED outside the Pac-10?"

San Jose State isn't a game... It's an excuse to rack up points and stats.

Ohio State just lost to Purdue, so you've lost a LOT of credibility over that "win."

UCLA beating Tennessee has nothing to do with USC playing them... Classic Chukpike, not reading the posts... Silly... Old man?

Arkansas just gave Florida a SERIOUS run for the money. Should have won the game. Those two penalties were bogus... Georgia BEAT Arkansas... Rather convincingly, I might add.... AND we have a by week before the game... You REALLY think we're gonna lose by 50, or are you just being an ass because California's premier college football team can't ACTUALLY play football?
 
Um.....unless you happen to be psychic and already know the outcome of the game, just because Georgia is playing Florida next doesn't mean they're going to lose. Look how badly Florida played against Arkansas. Anything could happen. Just like with Coach Weis. Don't count him or his Irish out just yet.

Its so nice to see a thread that's supposed to be about football turn into attacks on other people just because they don't agree with your opinion. :roll:

Back to the topic at hand......

I was a bit surprised (though I really shouldn't be) that Florida stayed number one on the BCS top 25. BAMA played a much better game this weekend. I really think they should be ranked number one, followed by Texas or Florida in either order. Both had somewhat sloppy games and barely pulled off wins.
 
I agree, Sevens. I just think Florida should move to number 3, they almost lost to the unranked team since Alabama and Texas won the games against the top 25 teams. It's just BCS that I'll never understand.

YEAH 'NOLES! I was in the library studying and someone turned the tv to the UNC beat down and I stopped studying to watch it. Best decision of that week.
 
And my Irish squeaked out a win. Yay!!!! BAMA game was way close. It was probably a pretty good game (since I like close games better than blowouts...). Too bad it wasn't televised here. :(
 
I sooo wanted TENN to hit that field goal.... The number one reason I don't like Alabama is because of the fan base they have... Bunch of dumb rednecks who don't know how to be classy about a win.
 
So both Florida and Alabama managed to pull off wins. But both games were pretty uninspiring and sloppy (from the replays I saw). Who will be number one tomorrow? Maybe Foxy's dream will come true and Texas will overtake them. ;)
