Random thought of the moment...

I know you have interpersonal Highways instead of interstate, but try telling that to the rich people in BMW's that invade your country from California wondering where their private taxpayer paid road went

You don't need to tell me about Califognians. I've had them ask me if New Zealand is between New Mexico and Nevada (when they weren't asking what part of Europe it was in). I've found those who thought that after you got as far north as Eureka, the Alaskan border was next. Not only were they not aware that Canada has a West Coast, they weren't even aware that Washington and Oregon were on the Pacific! :-?

One guy thought all Canadians were French-speakers because he had seen a Francophone hockey player interviewed on TV and he also thought Canada was a little country just north of New York.

A friend of mine used to work for Canada Customs just south of Vancouver and said that in July and August they would regularly get cars with skis and snowboards on the roofs and, you guessed it, California plates. When the passengers asked where the nearest snow was, she would keep a straight face and tell them to drive about 3 days north to the St Elias mountains.

Don't worry, someday California will be using the Hawaii interstate, and asking the locals there where Canada went LOL

When you find a crank, turn it. Who knows? it might be connected to a wishing well that spits out gold coins...

Going back to the UK after 5 years feels so strange, being with my family and friends again for a few weeks will be awesome though. :)

Being assertive everyday isn't a bad thing Pixie. ;)
Yes, I know, but sometimes it can make things worse in life instead of better.

(p.s. I haven't had a chance to assert myself today...going to work in a few minutes so I'll let you know how it goes. lol).

:horsie:
