Yes....Truman made a huge mistake to fired MacArthur while the war were going on. MacArthur should have to run for president.

MacArthur didn't have enough soldiers at his disposal to take on China at that point... and any move into China would have started WWIII, which was what the Korean War was trying to avoid...
