You don't know what you are missing.

When i was a kid (about a century ago) fishpaste sandwiches were generally regarded as something that poor kids got for lunch. To me they were a treat as i almost never got them. I liked them then and for some reason I never had them again for 50 years, until a month or so ago when I saw the same fishpaste on the supermarket shelves and bought a jar to try.

Yep,.. it's as good as ever, although it seems to have moved somewhat "upmarket" as it is now relatively expensive, being a health fad, as it is high in Omega 3 fatty acids which is supposed to be good for your heart.

Sigh.... I just can't win :mrgreen:.
 
Mmmmmm. That sounds like it would be a good marinade for my mom's Salsa Chicken... She marinades it in salsa... But I bet we could add some Bud Light Lime to that salsa.

I tease my hubby and tell him that it is Chicken Margarita! :cheers: It really is good, though. My grandpa taught me to marinate with beer... bet he never thought of the flavored beers when he taught me! :-P
