You might be surprised and it's good to know a few laughs can be brought on by such a comment. (which ofcourse were meant to be accepted. (happy they were)
I haven't listened to Dean Martin in quite a while and your post changed that sad fact. For that I'll share this nice one with everyone while adding a story.
Although this one is meant for the girlfriends and wives of our soldiers, I think of the children while posting this one.
My son was recently in a fast food chain (as most soldiers love this healthy addition to their regular meals).:-P While standing in line he heard the words "daddy,,you're home". He turned around and there was a young girl running to him ready to hug someone she thought was her daddy. (my son)
I'll never forget this and as he told the story I could see the sadness in his eyes, imagining all the children who may do this every day, and one day maybe his own.
God bless these children. I don't say it mildly nor does it never cross my mind when I see them now.

Here's an oldie and a goodie.. hope you enjoy.

First time I heard this I was in my car.
I was laughing so much I had to pull over or I was going to crash!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

...to just another dead singer this year: Natina Reed (Blaque) got run over by a car, same as her mentor LeftEye before, just two days short of her 33rd birthday, leving a 10 yrs old son behind.

I did not like many of her songs, but some few very much, here they are:

If someone could point me to the full version of the second song it would be much appreciated.

R.I.P.

...currently listening to the "Grand Masturbation", or should I say the "Long" one, its exactly 1:41:22 hours of it, guitarists doing it for themselves...

Thanks to the lifted time limit we now find stuff on youtube that we were always looking for but never dared to search for seriously...

One of the gems that I ran into researching the new long posts is this live concert of three of my 10 guitar gods,
Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen, in Denver don´t know when (guessing early 90s), and in this order (and, of course, together at the end of the concert´s last 30 minutes, though its not the best part of it).

Enchanting, fascinating, and almost too much (you need a big joint, spare time and a good equipment to really succesfully process all this input).

So different and so alike, and sooooo different: For me, Malmsteen comes off best, probably because his tunes are often baroque classic based and hence provide a memory factor, or because of his Finnish soul´s darkness, or because of the drummer ever so pushing... Go tell...

... to one of the really beautiful albums of my adolescence. Rediscovered it yesterday while going through my vinyls and it still has the same magic of music, lyrics, sounds and arrangements for me (and I also found the singer - Sonia Kristina - soooo hot then, had a poster on the wall of her).

Enjoy!
