I know what you mean Highway Man.. we've had major floods here this year in May and November.. May was a record setting month with 35 trillion gallons fallen .. enough to cover the whole state in 8 inches of water, to fill up California's largest reservoirs three times to capacity, and enough to cover the island of Manhattan almost four times At least 23 deaths and 13 missing.
... enough rain fell here to supply the entire world's population with 10,000 days if everyone drank 8 8oz glasses a day.

We've had a just little rain ( a few days) this week.

The bottom of the page on this link has information
This link has videos .. pause them (if you want) :|and go the bottom and you'll see the statistics.

I know what you mean about being busy, and the holidays doesn't help much either, nor does the weather. A few tornadoes flew through last night and killed at least 11, injured others. The day before Xmas we had flooding again,, this Texas weather is something else. Yesterday it was almost eighty and last night near felt like it was freezing outside.. rain.. wind.. and then the tornadoes.

Where were we?.. ok. 2480

2481 - we've had widespread flooding access Wales and the whole north of England. 10s of 1000s of homes flooded, roads and bridges washed away, buildings destroyed. 100s of troops assisting the civil authorities.
