No I think Trump is shooting his mouth off to cause the maximum worldwide chaos and the best thing the world could do to deal with it is cut him from all news feeds and ignore him.

Trump is following the Nazi play book to a tee (this not the same as saying he is a Nazi).

Two points stand out:

1. "Naturally the common people don't want war . . . but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or parliament or a communist dictatorship. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country."

2. A big lie (German: große Lüge) is a gross distortion or misrepresentation of the truth primarily used as a political technique. The German expression was first used by Adolf Hitler in his book Mein Kampf (1925) to describe how people could be induced to believe so colossal a lie because they would not believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously". Hitler claimed that the technique had been used by Jews to blame Germany's loss in World War I on German general Erich Ludendorff, who was a prominent nationalist political leader in the Weimar Republic.

I am pleased Canada has united against his BS, I am hoping a coalition of the tarrifed forms to ignore his nonsense.

Who ever thought that the next great war would be all the minor economies vs the three major economies.
Fortunately Russia is all but spent, America is too divided to achieve much with a waning economy and China is desperately trying to stave off its own bankruptcy so we are in with a chance.
