It's That Time Of Year!

Use the regular season... Still use the BCS ranking system... Strength of schedule, stats after games, non-conference play...
Still leaves a lot of variables, and would possibly leave a team like 10-2 Penn State out of the playoff. My point is that there are too many variables solving too few problems with a playoff system. They should just go back to the old system and admit they're not perfect.

Mmm, been out of this forums for like 6 days and came back with the Tide supporters than Horns. Watch it. Horns are going to win. The Muschamp's defensive team can stop Mark Ingram.

Okay... You stop Mark Ingram... Then Greg McElroy throws it over your head to Julio Jones, Marquis Mayes, or Darius Hanks.

If Texas plays anything similar to the way they played Nebraska, they're not going to stand a snowball's chance in hell against Alabama.

Have you forgotten? Texas against Nebraska was similar to Alabama against Tennessee, so, Alabama was that very lucky to blocked the ball during the Tennessee's field goal as Texas' McCoy threw the ball out of the game to stop the clock at one second for the lucky field goal. Everyone has their own lucky or unlucky moves.

Henderson, please, Colt McCoy throws it over your head to the solid wide receivers, Jordan Shipley and Quan Cosby, anyway.

Let's see what the Longhorns and 'Bama can do in the National Championship on January 7th.

Hook'em, Horns!

Very true, but I have a couple rebuttals...

1... That field goal wasn't going in anyway. It wouldn't have mattered.

2... Alabama led MOST of that game. Texas and Nebraska was much more back and forth.

3... Nebraska played a terrible game of football... 2-16 in first downs, 106 total yards, less time of possession... Yall should have STOMPED on them.

It was because of the interceptions to avoid to stomp or led the Cornhuskers, however, the Horns' defensive team did the good job but they made some mistakes.

Gerhart's stats are impressive, but Ingram had to do what he did in the toughest conference in college football... I'd rather have a man with 1500 yards and 15 touchdowns from the SEC than 1700 yards and 26 touchdowns in the Pac-10.

I know that, and you know that. But like I said.....I'll be surprised if he doesn't get it. Just because he's Tebow.

Nobody ever gets a second Heisman Trophy as far as I know.

Colt McCoy just won the Maxwell Award as the best player of the year and the Davy O'Brien Award as the best quarterback. Next trophy for him is Heisman Trophy, hopefully.

Yes, I'm a hardcore fan of Texas Longhorns, obviously.

Archie Griffin is the only other man to have done it. He was a running back for Ohio State in the mid-70s.
Yes, and he was quite good in college, but wasn't the right style for the NFL.

What little respect I had for Tim Tebow was washed away by his tears after Bama crushed the Gators.
