It has been a really cold week. Today, not so bad -20C but it has been frisky down to -38C. At least I wake up when I step outside

Here, in Singapore, the weather is rather unpredictable- moonsoon season.

It can be bright sunshine one moment and dark adn gloomy the next hour, followed by heavy rain, and sometimes strong winds.

Its good when this happen at night, but not in the day...

I remember the monsoons, it amused me to be standing in sunshine and on the other side of the street it was pouring with rain.

I was en-route to Changi one day with my Bedford during the monsoon. I was on a dual carriageway when I saw a car stopped in my lane, I very gently touched the brakes to slow down, the truck immediately did a 180 and ended up facing oncoming traffic, which was sliding all over the place. Now I've got to turn the bloody thing around to face the right way, very difficult in heavy rain and heavy traffic. The Chinese chap in the back of the truck thought it was highly amusing, the stores Corporal in the cab with me thought he was going to die.

In the NE USA the weather has been warm with a mix of sun and clouds for ~ 2weeks, 1 rainy day is all. Can't get any better. Nice for fishing and gardening.
