Hello everyone!

The Iraqi's couldn't retreat any faster out of Kuwait. Once we had troops on the ground, they didn't hang about! ;)

In Afghanistan, it's all about training up the Afghan army so that they can take control of their country once all coalition troops have withdrawn in a few years time.

Damn, so why do people keep coming to me and say "your army is nothing, look at our Iraqi army before America attacked"? I hated that Saddam Hussein, I'm glad my country was from the coalition forces.

Well...I'd say just get rid of Taliban.

Hmm...forgive me because my knowledge about the Middle East is a little limited. I'm talking about the withdrawal from Kuwait war when the coalition forces wanted to kick Iraq out of Kuwait. I believe they had an army. o.O

So, it's England and America in Afghanistan? I feel bad for Afghanis, they have 2 countries sending troops and their Taliban.

Firstly the yanks bombed the hell out of Iraqi's to start with.

Then the ground invasion started and by the end of day 4/after 100 hours, Kuwait was Iraqi free.

In Afghanistan currently, it's the US and UK who have the largest presence. But there are also NATO troops there such as Spain, France, Belgium, Norway and Australia etc.

The Iraqi military had always been poor, especially when it comes to tactics.

Since the invasion, the Iraqi military is in a much better shape. Much more effective now than it ever has been.

Getting rid of the Taliban is easier said than done. Especially when some say Pakistan fully supports them...

Hmm, it's good to know. Kuwait was Iraqi free because the Iraqi army withdrew, right? Or was it because it got destroyed?

Afghanistan, a part of the world which I wouldn't want to go to. Too many damn troops in Afghanistan!

But, I believe they had technology in good quantities?

One thing I knew about Pakistan from a Pakistani guy who works with me, he said that the government of Pakistan is just a figure. There are those religious extremists who actually control the government and technically they're the ones in control but, don't take those words for granted....I'm not sure about that.

When the ground invasion started, I was sat in a bar in Port Stanley down in the Falklands. We'd flown down in civi airliners with cute blonde female cabin crew, as all the hairy arsed suspect male RAF cabin crew and the Tristars were flying troops to the Gulf. ;) I'd heard all the stories of Iraqi troops surrendering to newspaper reporters!!!

Well...you gotta try Koshary. That's 1 meal everybody in my country knows and it's quite fantastic! Also, vegetarian in case you have issues with meat.

Never heard of Koshary. Just had a quick google and it looks good! :D

I'm not brave enough to attempt cooking it though!!

Would be impossible to be a vegetarian and Scottish! ;)

Well the Americans bombed them to **** as a starter.

The Iraqi's withdraw once there was troops on the ground. They put up very little resistance as I recall.

Afghanistan is hell quite frankly. Not sure it'll ever be peaceful.

It looks good and tastes good!! Also it's one of the cheapest food you can get in our country and it does make you full unlike some other foods.

Why not? Koshary is basically some spaghetti, rice, lentils and some other things...I'm not a cook. :D It's basically very simple stuff combined.

Why can't you be vegetarian and Scottish? It's kinda funny that it's you guys that keep stereotyping yourselves. Also like that one which says you can't be Irish while you're not alcoholic or something.

Hmmm, America had to prove itself as a super-power it seems like.

It will be peaceful sooner or later, it just requires a little more work than others.

I believe they had access to good weaponry/technology due to the support that they received over their war with Iran.

Personally, I don't trust the Pakistani government.

I hate cooking!!! I think I might get Mrs Frogman to have a look at the recipe and give it a go. ;)

The Scottish "diet" is very meat heavy hence why I say you can't be a vegetarian and Scottish. ;) I joke of course, not all Scots enjoy meat.

The Irish love their alcohol!! ;)

Leaving all the work to the real soldiers eh! ;)

Seems to be a common trait amongst the monkeys. :p
