I dunno. I just don't see the thrill. Never done it, never will. But to each their own.
When I was 18 the I was stationed here in Va, the drinking age was 18, I drank like a fish, at 19 the upped the drinking age to 19, at 23 they upped it to 21, here was my daily routine
1600 off work back at the barracks grab a shower go to the bar ( Ebb Tide Inn, in Ocean View ) Happy hour started at 1700, drink and play pool till close 0200, go to a after hours club called the Galleon, drink until 0600, go down the street to a place called Pete's Place, eat a quick breakfast, 0700 show up at work barely on time still drunk but functional for the day, I did this each time were were here in Va, until I met my current wife, I consider myself the luckiest bastard in the world cause I never got pulled over and asked to blow into the tube, if I had, I'd still be in jail. Since I met Lynn, I now drink once or twice a year, I haven't been drunk in so long I forgot what its like, and I'm happy to say I need a cup of coffee. I don't condemn anybody for drinking, I just preach being more responsible than I was.
