WW2 Trivia

This Japanese pilot is credited with shooting down the first Allied bomber to fall in the Pacific and personal believed he may have shot down the last American plane downed in World War II, around the time of Japan's surrender.

Name the Japanese pilot.

As a bonus what was so unique about him at war’s end?

hmm. There was a lieutenant pilot in the IJN. He chose to be a kamikaze. He then wrote to his wife and his mentioned his new born daughter. What was the name of his daughter?

I don't think that much of the previous posts were really related to World War II. I would think that we need to stick to the topic.
