Speaking of nurses, here's one totally badass Army medic who's only the second female US Army soldier since World War II to be awarded the Silver Star:
Yes, boys -- she's trying to go to nursing school.
If I remember correctly, she came back w/PTSD. I hope this doesn't come as being disrespectful, but I don't think there's any award worth personal mental health. She showed great bravery and courage, but let's all hope she's doing batter.
