The band Rush. Lead singer, Geddy Lee also guitarist Alex Lifeson's parents were in concentration camps- for real. They survived to tell their stories. Graphic.
My favorite aria, "Nessun Dorma" (do believe it means noone sleeps) was, still is, a very personal song to me. Always brought me to waterfall tears, especially when Luciano Pavarotti belted it out velvetly. Until Dad passed away. I don't know, it's like I have an understanding now. He and I got to be good friends, real good. Please enjoy this, like we did together.

Closer to the Heart

Since I was twelve it has been one of my all time favorites. Yeah, so I kind of borrowed the LP from my brother.
They added two young actors on the closed set to sing along and play rhythm guitar. http://youtu.be/DDRPtg0kmJU
. and it was the BEST ROCKIN' CONCERT of all.. Remember it like yesterday.. fifth row seats and Angus Young in his school boy outfit floating above the crowd.. guess I'm still a kid at heart, and still lovin' these guys.
My pit bull snoring.. she fell asleep in front of the fireplace. She thinks she's a Chihuahua..
and the TV in the background. No music yet.
Ok.. I found this on YouTube. I was in the kitchen cooking today and this song came on the radio. I have an "old school" radio on a table in the corner of my kitchen. Every morning I turn it on, sometimes leaving it on all night, but this song came on and it was so beautiful and took me back to a time.. an innocent time, even before my first boyfriend. I wasn't even a teen yet when this came out and I LOVE THIS SONG.. I was dancing in my kitchen this morning and singing to this.. my favorite part begins 3:10 "Somehow I feel inside... you never ever left my side...make it like it was before..".. such beautiful harmonizing.
