An interesting battle, and the RTN Thornburi was an interesting ship, if the Thai gunners had been able to practice more and sharpen their markmanship, the outcome could have been very different, those 8" guns could have hurt the lightly protected French ships very badly, but there were few hits by the Thai's and many by the French. It really came down to gunnery, but the French having more and larger ships didn't hurt. I suppose the onset of WWII obsured what might have been a significant event in world history.

They are thwarted by obstructions & the Monitor USS Onandaga. CSS Drewry is destroyed & the Ironclads damaged.
