X = 31,536,000[SIZE=+1]
[/SIZE][SIZE=+1][/SIZE]
 
Possibly doesn't know that since there aren't many rules that govern the given variables, there's an infinite number of solutions to Insomniac's equation. If S, M, H and D are all distinct numbers other than zero {in a multiplication none of them can be 0}, than the solution set would basically be = (-∞,0) U (0, ∞). :mrgreen:

D, H, M and S are the numbers of days, hours, minutes and seconds, so X is the number of seconds in a year. :smil:

Though you're forgetting that a year is slightly longer than 365 days (365 d 6 h 9 min 9.7676 s). So the absolute value for X is in fact = 31,536,000 + 21,600 + 540 + 9.7676 = 31,558,149.7676

The devil's hidden in the details, hehehhe.

I am, i know the year's slightly longer, but i wanted a pretty simple equation so as to give everyone a better chance at it :P

I won't be, i've decided that i'm going to get a shitload of A-levels, go to university, go from there to somewhere else eddycating, and eventually just prove everyone wrong by being a God at learning =D
