I think China may have an edge in a war between the two.
The national will in China is greater, their military seems very motivated now with the new improvements. The superiority in Russian Air Power may be there but I don't think there's that big of a difference.
And it's true, the Russian Army is a bit of a rusting organization.

German national will was higher too, military was very motivated too.
Red Army was really rusted (and purged) back then.

Besides I wasn't trying to compare WWII Germany and China, I was trying to illustrate the will of the (Russian)people.
 
They'll get their act together when the dough is back...this is of course disturbing stuff but do you think it would be happening if Russia was to be invaded?
