DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND RESEARCH MICHAEL MOORE

Moore has been proven a liar of the greatest magnitude and is the one of the most despicable people in the world for creating films that are controversial so as to bilk thousands of their hard earned money..

He has gotten extremely rich with his lies.

Michael Moore's created something of a cottage industry debunking his distortions.

If folks want others to watch his films, they should also take time to hear the researched criticism of his movies. Fair enough?

Now, I am not a gun owner. Doubt I ever will own a firearm of any type. However, individual rights are not easily obtained or maintained and government's are quick to step in when people relax their guard.

So, I will defend the right to possess firearms. And I don't think my fellow countrymen are wrong or strange if they own them.

If you wanted the facts, you would research them. It is clear you're willing to make a broad generalisation about a country, it's people, and it's laws without doing the leg work (research) and trusting one "source." A source that contains more opinions than facts, more sensationalism than reality.

It was a promotional offer, big deal. The bank itself did not, despite how the movie choose to portray it, hand out guns like candy. No firearms were kept in the bank, nor were they given out immediately, they were kept at a dealers shop. The movie also neglects to inform the viewer of the tedious process, security checks and paper work it takes to "get" a rifle.

It's pretty simple really - video editing, a little manipulating and spun perceptions can make anything seem like the "truth" to those unwilling to educate themselves and be spoon fed their opinions.

You may continue to have your opinions and feel as if this movie is an accurate portrayal of life and people within the US, but that won't change reality, however.

If you go to the sites for Saddam, Hitler, Gengis Kahn, Irish Republican Army, USSR, China they will also "prove" that their positions are the only valid one as well.

Michael Moore has been exposed by many many reputable sources. He IS a liar without doubt and with an agenda.

Dougal, that was NOT a documentary, but rather an opinionated dipiction of a filmmaker's views about gun ownership in America.

Yes, American's love their guns. So much so, that they wrote it right into our Bill of Rights. 2nd Ammendment to our Constitution. Understand, as Americans we do not want the government telling us what we can and cannot have as protection or hobbies in our homes. Nor will we allow that to happen. There are laws in place that punish those who use firearms irresponsibly, or who have them illegally.

There are a bunch of folks like Michael Moore who are very socialist leaning in their beliefs and want to see government restrictions on everything. I encourage them to find a country which offers that system of government. America isn't interested.

Only problem is that now your saying the same that your "proof" is to be trusted and is the only proof that is vaild, which you compared to those people above. I take it that the above was a bad thing, which makes what you said a bad thing aswell.

I dont really care for More, I don't dislike him and i dont love him either. But to say that something is wrong and then saying the same thing isn't good

Anyway, this is the same Michael Moore that is currently bribing college students to vote for John Kerry and will possibly be charged for election fraud. He also made that GARBAGE Farenheit 911, which I'm assuming you also saw...let me tell you, that movie is SHIT as well.

I read Micheal Moore is a Fat stupid White Man, i think that was the title, and it had some points taht I agreed with but most where irrelevent like saying that he wasnt really from Flint but just outside of it. Well Im not from Boston, born in a surrounding city, but does that make all my credibillity go down the toliet by allinging myself with a far more recognizable city? I dont think so. And how is he bribing them. Is he going school to school and offering money to anyone who votes for kerry?Not that I'm aware of and if he is then he should be charged with fraud. And dont start with election fraud since GW stole the election last time around and we all know it

Firstly, I am Irish and you aren't representing us very well by this childish display.

Secondly, had you wanted opinions, you should have asked. Either you do not remember your previous posts, or you are attempting to deflect. As has been said, if you want to know the facts, do the leg work. Otherwise, coming in armed with only one source to back your opinions and judgments will not get you very far.

If you do not know how to handle discussions and debates, I would advise you to stay away from topics such as these in the future. Every member here has an opinion, most members here are fairly aware of their surroundings and are willing to discuss a variety of issues, agree or disagree.

Perhaps next time, if all you want are opinions you should wait to make your judgments until after you have gotten said opinions.

Do not act out because people did not give you the response you feel you should have been given.
