People are getting tired of Marvel if the performance of Captain America: Brave New World is anything to go by.
If I had my way space sci fi movies like "Project Hail Mary", "Rendezvous with Rama", and "Elio" would be American cinema's next "Big Thing".

As well as fantastical "Space Opera" movies that are not "Star Wars" or "Star Trek".
There are stuff out there that is not Star Wars or Star Trek and is just as good if not better.
Perhaps the success of this movie would convince Hollywood to go down this path.
