I enjoy the History Channel programs about the German military and WWII equipment more than any other Country. Some of the armor and aircraft were ingenious. If they had a real leader back then, a lot would be different but I think they would have lost the war anyhow. The methods used in problem solving and training were next to none.
Is that how Germany can be remembered by? Militarism and conquest?

There is more to it than what meets the eye.
hey, i got a question
is germany willing to be a part of EU or be a leader of EU?

It's interesting to read what other people think of our country but alas it looks stronger than it is at the moment.
This doesn't make sense to me. Can you explain it?

I was speaking more to the quality of education and just plain ingenuity. I put the Swiss in the same category. I hope the future generations will remember that we also made great clocks. I'm third generation American. My surname is Knous, which was Knouse before Ellis Island.

Lets hope they do remember. However it is true that Germany had a violent history. Possibly the most violent in the world.

Replace "Alas", I have a feeling that it doesn't do well with the sentence.
Are you implying that most people don't know the true power of Germany? If not, I don't agree. If yes, I agree.
