Yep, those old Webley's did have a rugged beauty, and no one could argue as to their being made to last. They looked like they were made in a Blacksmith's shop,... well, I suppose many of the forgings were,...
I bought the Python off one South Australia's premier pistol shooters who had it Magnaported, only to be told that it could not be used in competition, so he knocked $100 off it's purchase price, having only fired 50 rounds through it. I used to use my own soft loads for competition and full loads for "extra curricular activities" :smile: My cousin was a Commonwealth cop and used to give me shoe boxes full of once used brass
