Anyone here going to attend to exercise Iron Sword 2005 in Norway?
I've been working (almost) full time, preparing and planning for this exercise the last 3-4 months, and it's finally starting now.
(HNS - Host Nation Support)
I'm responsible for everything happening inside "my" camp here, and we expect up to 1,000 soldiers to arrive soon.
The first few have already arrived, but the fun will begin tomorrow when the first vehicles/trucks and containers arrives..
A total of 10 nations will attend to the exercise:
Netherland, Germany, Norway, UK, Italy, Greece, Denmark, France, Spain, Turkey and USA.
But Germany and the Netherlands is the main participants, from 1. German/Netherlands Corps.

you can also find some info about exercise Iron Sword on the official Norwegian IS 05 site here:

I'll be in (or near) my camp almost 24/7 the next 3-4 weeks, but I'll try to get online and give you some sitreps from time to time...
