Archery rocks. I like shooting firearms but if someone wants a challenge take up archery. For firearms I'd say the 12 Gauge.

By the way Treblechant? Is somebody practicing for some large scale siege or something?

M-16 with day/night scope for firepower.
Colt 1911 .45 for those who are hard to impress.

I second the archery; it is fun, stealthy, and lets face it, getting impaled by an arrow that came out of nowhere is a huge morale crusher, the whole unseen enemy thing.

Personal weapon: probably a Heckler and Koch G-36 in 6.5 Grendel

Pistol: Glock 17 in 9mm, but I could easily be convinced to go to 10mm

Long rifle: PGWDTI MRSWS, (see http://www.pgwdti.com/ ) or an Accuracy International Arctic Rifle in .338 Lapua. (I want a left hand bolt. If neither of them make one, and I don't think they do, I would choose a Sako TRG-42)
