Active Marine Trying to Go Navy EOD

I'm an active duty Marine with 4 years behind me and one to go. My dream is to go EOD. I was wondering what all I'll have to do to get into Navy EOD, and what I can look forward to. I have one on base DUI convition and was NJP'd for it, but I have already taken the necessary steps so that it won't be an issue.

For Navy EOD duty I'm almost positive you also have to be Scuba qualified. Not so in the Army. All branches attend the Navy EOD School at Eglin AFB in Fl.

Try the Army if you don't have any luck. EOD in the Army is MOS 89D. While you're at it try for Airborne School. See a Recruiter or try a Marine Career Counselor about reenlistment in the Navy with a contract for EOD.
