Actually, it's not the good old MG-42. It is called MGA3 and has been produced under license in Iran since 1970-71 and is very different from MG-42 of the WWII era. German MG-3 machine gun was first introduced in 1968.

The MG3 and its variants all share a high level of parts interchangeability with the original MG42.
