Insurgent Training: IED placement in sheep

Exploding carcasses... the second oldest trick in the book.

Actually the thing about the athletes being repeatedly beaten. That's quite common in South Korea as well. It's getting a bit better but you won't believe the type of stories I heard from their side of the camp.
 
They use various things get explosives in range to kill Coalition troops, rival insurgents and civilians. They even use mentally retarded people as suicide bombers now.
 
While Soviets were in Afghanistan 1979-1989, mujahedeens of that time also loved `IED within dead animal` on the road. Nothing new.
 
They are not only booby trapping dead animals, ut dead humans as well.....makes a fun time when we escorted the IP's to a body, they find a crap load of wires coming out, and the RUN! My commander in the unit i deployed with was blown up with MSNBC filming and it aired on the news....we were all told to call our families and let them know we were ok lol. But you can see the body, and then the explosion, my aunt recorded it on a DVD and sent it to me, pretty decent footage, they were actually rolling when it went boom and the camera was aimed at the body, disabled 3 trucks.......you could probably just do a search on their website for 410th military police company and find it.
